After a standout first edition, Abrupt returns to Brussels this October, sharper, more focused, and more connected to the tensions shaping sound and culture than ever.
From 8 to 12 October, Abrupt unfolds across a series of distinctive venues in Brussels. The festival presents a curated selection of live performances, club nights, talks, and gatherings, each one tuned to the shifting frequencies of a hyperdiverse musical landscape.
Organised by the non-profit behind Reset, the temporary brutalist cultural space in central Brussels, Abrupt reflects the organisation’s broader commitment to independent artistic creation.

Following their acclaimed Made In Silence EP, dBridge & Madison Willing debut This Life, a striking blend of diaristic piano, ambient dance, and beat-driven neo-classical minimalism. Sharing the bill is rising Belgian artist Niels Orens, whose live A/V show with drummer fuses breakbeat rhythms, emotive sound design, and hybrid electronics into a visceral, genre-blurring experience.
Bozar

Bozar is a welcoming and dynamic arts house with a beating heart in Brussels. Situated in the historic art deco building designed by Victor Horta, this cultural hub is dedicated to promoting the free flow of ideas and expressions across visual arts, music, film, and performance arts.
Bozar serves as a platform for both Belgian and international artists, emphasizing the role of art in addressing contemporary challenges — ethical, demographic, democratic, and ecological — Bozar is committed to fostering personal and communal change. It stands as a beacon of democratic and ethical values, striving for a fairer and more sustainable society through artistic engagement and solidarity.
